Could I Use Heat on BUSSI Hair?
You can use moderate heat with a flat iron or curling iron. However, we don't recommend frequent use, as excessive direct heat can damage even our own hair. Nevertheless, it can assist you in achieving the desired style, whether it's curls or straightening for a sleek look.
How Do I Know My Wig Size?
Wigs are available in: small, medium, and large. If you're uncertain about measuring your head size, feel free to reach out to us, and we'll assist you through the process.
What Is The Best Way To Store A Wig?
An ideal option is to use a wig stand or mannequin head, as it prevents hair tangling and preserves the shape. Additionally, store wigs in a cool, dry place to maintain their optimal condition.
Can I Swim Or Shower With My Wig?
We advise against this practice as it may exert excessive stress on the hair, leading to difficult-to-manage tangles. Moreover, exposure to pool chemicals and salt can cause damage, dryness, and may also impact the color of the hair.
Could I Sleep With My Wig On?
While it is possible to sleep in a wig, it's crucial to acknowledge that doing so can accelerate wear and tear.
There are two primary reasons for this:
1. The duration of use is nearly doubled, worn for 24 hours a day instead of the usual 12 within a 24-hour period.
2. Friction – the hair experiences rubbing against the pillow during sleep. For those who choose to sleep in their wig, we recommend using a silk or satin pillowcase to minimize friction, allowing the hair to move more smoothly. If you have a long-haired wig, consider wearing the hair up to prevent tangling during the night.
